Biovital has a fully equipped microscopy suite. In addition to standard preparative facilites for both vital imaging and immunofluorescence cell imaging, Biovtital has a wide range of vital dyes available and can undertake GFP work on a wide range of cells. A Olympus confocal microscope is available. High speed vital cell imaging is also possible using a Retiga image enhancement CCD. Inverted microscopy facilities are available as is microinjection and patch clamping to allow electrophysiological studies.
Full image analysis facilities including deconvolution are available based on Image pro plus software.
In addition to our microscopy suite, the lab also boasts a Mass Spectrometer, a PCR suite, a HPLC kit for pigment profiling, a fluorescence plate reader, an ultra centrifuges. Biovital Research is committed to wider access to research level facilities to educational markets, if you have a project that you would like to undertake but cannot because you need access to research facilities then we would be happy to discuss facilitating this. Biovital Research operates the facilitiy on a non profit basis so access can be arranged at much lower cost than commercial rates.
